Our ultimate goal is for the Formation to be a fun place for Cadets from all the five branches to learn and share the experiences of other cadets. As with any society, we need a few basic rules to maintain order.
As the Formation is run via Proboards, anything violating their Terms of Service is automatically against our rules. Most notable is TOS 18. Objectionable Content, which highlights many things that are not allowed on any Proboards forum by any Proboards member. Anything violating the Proboards Terms of Service will in most cases result in an instant Ban from the Formation.
These rules may change at any time to accommodate changes in the Formation. These rules are a general guideline, and it is ultimately up to staff to decide whether or not you broke a rule, and to what severity.
- Be Respectful- Everyone deserves respect, no matter what year, age, branch, or rank.
- No Excessive Cursing/Vulgarity- An occasional "sentence enhancer" is fine, but keep it in good taste!
- No Trolling- Includes things such as giving purposely false information, and provoking arguments.
- Don't Impersonate Staff- Staff will never ask you for personal information.
- Don't ask for Staff- Staff positions will be earned. Staff positions are given to Cadets who help and contribute to the community.
- Don't Spam or Double Post- It just gives the Formation useless posts that don't benefit the community.
- Only use English- As JROTC programs are US only, English is the only language needed. Private messages are an exception.
